Side Bang Hair Cuts For Long Hair?

I haven't had my hair cut in roughly four months, and the last time it was cut, it was layered, thinned out and my bangs were cut to resemble..well we'll say those of Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada..perhaps mine were just a little heavier though. However, now they've grown out and I can wear them only to the side, but they hardly look decent in my opinion, not to mention my layers have also grown out.

That is perhaps the most recent picture I can provide should anyone be able to help me. As you can see, given the length of my bangs, I opt to pull them back now.. Ideally what I am looking for is a layered cut with decent, side bangs. All advice is welcome, pictures are much prefered as sometimes description can be confusing.

this is a great look, and its long hair. i just recently got my hair cut like this, and i really like it, but i got it a bit choppier at the bottom.

also, this is really cute (the bangs, not the shortness) if you like your bangs all the way across. it just depends on the shape of the face by which you choose.
