Did you regret cutting your long hair?

I have had very long hair all my life. I've been thinking about cutting it short lately, like chin length. Has anyone out there who has always had long hair get it cut really short? Did you regret it? Was it a welcomed change? Any advice for someone in my position?

Yess! I really regret cutting my hair! i had hair down to my butt and i cut it shoulder length. i reallly wish i hadnt cut it....

at first. but then once my friends told me i looked good and it was a really cute cut i didn't regret it at all.

no, not at all! it was good to have a change... just a shock at first but then it is cute and is a LOT easier to take care of!

I regretted it. I was only about 9 and because I was going to sleepover camp, my mom made me get a haircut. I have always regretted that. It never really grew back.

I just cut mine to my shoulders and it was a much needed change! It got rid of a lot of dry, damaged hair and it's very hot where I live so it's not always sticking to the back of my neck. I can wear it down more often AND it takes less time to style.

I liked it at first but later wished i had only trimmed it medium instead of short

nope i have no regrets at all in life at all so far and id never cut my long beautiful hair anyway maybe like a a few inches is the most id ever cut it ( =

at first I got upset about cutting it all off. But I ended up liking it, and it was alot easier to manage. I think you should get your hair cut. The thing is, hair grows back.

haha yeah i had pretty long hair before, and i cut it about a month ago. it's shoulder length, but won't go up in a ponytail because it's layered quite a lot (from the top of my ear to my shoulder). the haircut isn't all that bad, except i was used to having my hair up x]. you'll probably be okay with chin length hair. dress it up with clips and headbands though =] good luck!

I did, but then i was able to use cute clips I wasnt able to use in my hair before. :-)

I SO REGRET IT!!! PLEASE DON'T CUT IT MY HAIR WAS TO MY MID BACK CUT IT 3 INCHES BELOW MY SHOULDER!! SO REGRETED IT!!

when i was a teen i had hair to my butt, i cut it and have regreted it ! now that i'm WELL PAST 29, i'm growing it long again.

I did!!!!!! OMG!!!!! IT SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!! I had BEAUTIFUL long hair 1 inch above my butt, and it was soo pretty. Then when I was playing tennis, I thought, "STUPID HAIR!!!!!!!" Because it was falling out of the ponytale since I have VERY thick hair. So I got it cut and donated it to Locs Of Love (LOL) and I was mad at me for doing that. But, I was happy that some kid that needed hair more then I did got hair.

So, now I like it. But at first I hated it

i had long hair too and one time i decided to cut it... it was really cool because it was so hot and and you could stay cool. even if you dont like it you can grow it out again or get extensions

I just got my hair cut short on Thursday. I love it. I look way better. It's easy to style, easy to wash, it dries quickly, I look hot, and yeah.

sometimes i did, sometimes i didnt. i had mine down to my waist once, and my mom cut it into a bob. sometimes its easier to wash though. if u like change, u can always wear ur hair in a sophisticated way no matter what length it is.
