hi, i have long and i mean long brown hair and im 156cm thats something like 5"11 i think, anyway it goes down the my butt and its all one length, and i have side bangs that are as long as my chin. i want to get my hair cut tomorow any one got any suggestion with images maby and i odnt want it really really short just normal, could u please send the link of the picture thanks

you need to cut off all your split ends. that's the reason your hair gets tangled.

you might have to cut off a lot though if you haven't had it cut in a few years.

well mine was like that and i wanted to change it big time so i got alot cut off like alittle past my chin but in layers everyone loved it and hey it's just hair it'll grow back with time!!

I would start with getting it cut about 5 to 6 inches and getting some layers put in it for volume. You can always go shorter later if you like. A few highlights especially around your face would brighten it up a lot. Good Luck!

But i got about 6-7 inches off and a full fringe, but a thin one not block fringe

i got quite a few layers too

i hav had long brown hair down to my butt for 40 odd years, I'm 61yrs old now and I would'nt hav my hair cut for anything, People I hav known over the years who had long hair then cut it, hav always regretted it after, So think very carefully before you do it, Regards
