So what is with men and long hair anyway?

I got my hair cut today and my husband doesn't like it and he only saw it in the dark when i went to tell him good night after i got home from work. My beautician cut off 12 inches of hair, it is shorter than he has ever seen it. But he didn't really see it yet anyway,

Most men don't have long hair but they like it on their women the thing is they don't have to take care of it, and it is hard work when it is long.

So my question is this: Why do most men freak out when we cut off our long hair that we didn't really like and only grew long for you anyway?

Women shouldnt have to do whatever the guy wants when it comes to that...we should be able to wear our hair however we feel comfortable wearing it without having to feel less attractive to the man. If he doesnt like the do, he should just keep that opinion to himself.

I don't know but I think that men are strange on this one. I would rather not deal with longer hair. But, mine is fairly long.

I also don't like when men have long hair. Not my cup of tea.

I think the answer to this is one of the rules that I have observed about people. Here it is:

1) PEOPLE RESIST CHANGE.

You were ready for a change, ie: your hair.

Obviously, your husband wasn't.

I personally prefer short hair on women. Long hair is fine too, of course, but as a personal preference I like it short.

As to why men react that way, I dunno. Men tend to be set in their ways as they get older I guess. Change isn't good. Everything should be the same. Just ask any old man who sits around and talks about "the good ol' days" and how things "ain't like they used to be." ;)

No kidding. Been there, have the same kind of husband!! If they had to do all the stuff we have to do with it, they might change their minds. They can't take 5 minutes to groom themselves, but we should spend 2 hours getting ready for them to look at. You have to remember, guys are TOTALLY visual!! They like to look at us!! I say, it is your hair, you do what you want. I have cut my hair the same way several years ago, then after I didn't have it for a while, I am now growing it back. It is a vicious cycle, grow, cut, grow, cut. Have fun with it!! Have him blow dry and curl your hair once, just so he can see what it takes if you ever grow it out again. Enjoy your new do!!

This goes for everyone men %26amp; women. Most women look better with long(er) hair. Some look good with short hair. While a select few can pull off either.

The same goes for mens hair %26amp; facial hair.

Women have the right to have their anyway they like. Just realize when you ask for an honest opinion, be prepared for the good and bad.

I really don't know, my man likes mine long also. Maybe it seems more feminine to them or something. But I like long hair on guys but you don't see many with that.
