I have loooooong black hair to my butt, I was thinking of getting it cut real short (ethir a bob or something shorter like boy lenght) but I'm not sure how, should I get it cut by a ponytail, or should I take the siccors and just cut of each chunk? Thanks.

Ok, first of all, if your hair is that long, I suggest you cut it to the middle of your back and try it there. Then, if you dont like that, try shoulder length, etc. Dont just go nuts and get a boy cut. You might not like it and think of all the years you spent growing it out. If you are going to cut it to to the middle of your back, pony tail and cut across. Good luck!

My hair was the same for my whole life. I cut it to the middle of my back let that shock wear off then got a great bob which I was over in about 3 weeks and its still growing back 5yrs later. So cut gradually in ponytails.
