It all depends on the head of the person wearing the hair. If you have a big forehead, long hair parted in the middle will do nothing for you. Putting some side bangs in and layering it would look better.

As ofr a bob haircut, same thing. I believe a person wishing to have this type of cut should have a skinny face and long neck.

I choose both! I love short bobs, but long hair can be made into a longish bob as well. Short bobs are more flirty and fun in my opinion though.
