It really depends on the guy. On young guys moderately long hair is great, but over 30 need to get it cut. I don't like braids or dreds at all, bald/shaved is ok if they have a nice shape to their head, but clean cut has always been my favorite.

I like long hair if it's curly...like puerto ricans, or guys mixed with black and anything else....so with the long hair i like braids too or just back in a pony tail. Anything tidy is better than not. Those small, carefully tended dreads that cover the whole head and make it bouncy are wonderful on a young black man, but an older man or a white man would probably look silly. On a white man, long hair, kept clean and tied back, is my favorite. The advantage of this is that it looks good even when it turns white, so a white man does not need to change his style as he grows older. The most attractive older black man I have seen had fairly short curly white hair, a mustache, and a most engaging smile. It was the smile that did it, of course . . . but that's true for any man, any age.

Of course, I always did think Yul Brenner was just about the sexiest man alive when we were both younger, so we have to give a strong vote for bald heads, too, if the head is well shaped and clean and has no pimples or bumps.
