i have LONG hair, down to my butt. and iv been thinking about cutting alittle shorter with layers and bangs but im sooo scared, my hair is my security blanket. iv seen ways to see what youd look like if you wanted to cut it short but cant find a way to see what id look like, i need help! this is a big decision for me!
Wanna cut my LONG hair? I know excatly how you feel! I have a hair cut on wednesday and i wouldn't say i have really long hair but its pretty long. I'm thinking about having it cut a to my shoulders and that will be a big difference.
IF you don't try anything knew you'll always be wondering, but sometimes its so hard to take a big first step. What i would say is have about 3-5 inches cut off then if you realise you just can't live without your long hair, stop. But if you think after you could go a little shorter, have a little bit more cut off. Take it slowbecause you don't have to have it all cut off at once, there is no rush.
After all your hair is your hair and i'm sure you know, it takes LONGGGGGGGGG time to grow if someone messes it up, or you make a wrong desicion.

Wanna cut my LONG hair? if i were you i would cut it into layers first and if you like it shorter then i would go for the bangs. i have seen so many girls do what you are talking about and they always dislike the bangs. so if you cut the layers into it first and you are still wanting bangs get them done in a week or two, that way it is not so drastic. your hair will look so healty and fresh with layers, i hope you like it!

Just make sure you go to a really good stylist and before you let them cut it, be really clear what you want. Try bringing in a picture of the style you want.
Also, remember that it will turn out shorter than you think. Like, if you say you want 7 inches, remember that it will be shorter than your think.
Wanna cut my LONG hair? That is so wierd! I got that exact cut and had looonnnnggg hair! My cut came out fine, and all you have to do is cut your bangs a little past your eyebrows and ask your stylist to make long layers. She won't cut your layers past your shoulders if you ask for long layers.

I'm actually getting a fue different coloured ones in my hair for a change and so i don't damage my hair with bleach so their are allot of different things u can do if u want a change

Wanna cut my LONG hair? you need to go for it you may absolutley love it and wish u had done it sooner and besides it will always grow back...i dont know where you are from but u could check into donating your hair to locks of love they make wigs for cancer patients...that may help in your decision...to know that your hair is going to such a wonderful cause

Go to a hair salon that has computer images with both long,short,dyed usually you can get 6 pictures at a time. Best to call around 1st to see who has this. I had long hair just before butt too, after the pictures of short hair that did it for me so I had it cut shoulder length %26amp; donated the other half for cancer wigs( real hair wigs). But I'll never go short-short ( hair that LQQKs like long hair guy) that would'nt be me. I had the computer image done in Bloonington,Minnesota. Good luck! :0)

But I did it about a month ago and at first I was kinda like going through withdrawl because I was so used to being able to hide my face with my hair if I had like a huge pimple on my face. But I cut it cut in to chest langth and I got it layered and people keep on telling me how it looks so much better. And it does! I think you should cut your hair :D

Even though u don't know which way to cut ur hair u can get a pic of u in a ponytail looking plain. then cut out some pics of magazines or get pics off the internet of hair and put the hair on ur pic 2 See what u'd look like. HOPE u like my idea. It worked for me. ANother good idea is put ur pic in a clear paper cover and draw hair on ur pic w/ a dry erase.
