i have hair that falls down to my hips.. but i am only 5'3' .. my friends tell me that long hair makes people look short .. i cut my hair up to my shoulders a cpl years back but it grew right back.. i cant get straight answers from the ppl around me so ur opinions will help..

Just a fashion tip, if you think it's even slightly attractive to have hair down to your hips....well.....it's not. 5', 6' 100'.....Cut it to mid-back at the LONGEST, get some layers and highlights and stop living in the 60's.

It's not about what everyone else thinks. Do you like it? I am 5'4" and my hair used to be that long and now it's at my shoulders. I am going to grow it back down to probably my lower back because I want to. Not for anyone else. I love long hair and I really miss mine.

No that's not true at all. I also have long hair and I will never cut it short and I get alot of compliments when my hair is very long. Long hair is beautiful and if it's well looked after and it's shiny and healthy then there's absolutely no reason to cut it. Don't listen to your friends. I think they are just jealous! He he he. Sorry I must just mention that you must keep it at that length because if you let it grow too long then it doesn't look nice and thick anymore and you can get headaches because it will get too heavy for your poor head and neck!

I never wonder about this, but your question let me think Platini, Maradona and Ronaldinho are pretty good with long hair. At the second link you can see a movie showing how ugly Maradona was with short hair. Ronaldinho too acts in this movie. I need to point it out Maradona is only 5'2" tall (and not 5'8" as many biographies reports, he's 168cm.) and quite fat, while Ronaldinho is 5'11" tall and very slim.
