I cut my long hair now i want it back..?

in july, i cut my natural golden blonde, long hair. i got layers, side bangs, and low lights and high lights. i hate my hair now.. how can i outgrow my layers and side bangs to one length, and make it really long again? how long is this going to take? (my hair grows an excepttional length each month)

but if you say that your hair grows very fast

then maybe 3-4 months

if your lucky

its easy to cut it short

but no easy to get it long

to help is grow faster

Why don't you like your layers? I'm about to layer my hair... should I not do it?!!? Agh! But anyways, everyones hair grows differently. It took my friend 2 years just to grow his hair down to his shoulders, where as with me it would take only a year or so. You just have to wait it out. Maybe you should dye it all one color so its doesn't stand out that much.

It will take a year to see a big difference. I wouldn't cut it much at all. Many people say oh cut it every so many weeks, etc. BLAH. I only cut my hair once or twice a year and I did EXACTLY what you did but I dyed my hair back to my natural color...I love that part but I miss my long hair. I just cut it last week too! I wouldn't touch your bangs, just pin them back and wear your hair up a lot if you don't like it. When the layers get unmanageable just cut the longer layer away then the 2nd and so on, until your hair is one length. It will take a while, like I said but it's just a haircut, it will grow.

i will take time for it to grow back. i would say over a year or more depending on how much damage is done to it.
