okay..i am almost 13 (august 12) and i am going into 8th grade..i want kind of a cuter cut..but here is my problem..

i have a long forehead...i can fit 4 fingers on it..it sucks! but i have oily skin..so the side bang thing isnt working very well because it makes my bangs seperate..and i really dont want full bangs because it makes me look weird and younger..so does anyone have any ideas?

I would keep them in long layers, with long layered side bangs in the front. I know you said you have side bangs now, but have them cut in more of a choppy/feathery style, and if they separate a little from the oil of your skin, it will look like it's intentional. Avoid anything blunt, it could be too harsh with your face. Good luck!

I think your hair is good right now, but I really think full bangs would cover your forehead better. Or, you could just go get your bangs cut to about your eye and have some on the right side and more on the left side or less on the left or more on the right...it depends on what side you like and it doesn't really matter. I have a big forehead too but that doesn't mean that you need bangs to cover it up! %26amp; since you have oily skin that is definetly not a good idea. This is what I do: part my hair to the side, and since i have pretty long hair, I got lots of choppy layers and it looks great.

Full bangs probably aren't a good option for you with th oily skin. But some whispy bangs might be just the trick! Also, you can make your forehead look smaller ... you'll need at least two shades of powder to do the trick. You'll use your regular powder on your face ... the kind that just evens your skin tone. Then choose a shade 1 to 2 shades darker than that and outline your forehead from your cheekbone up to your forehead and to the other cheekbone. This whill create the illusion of a shadow and make your forehead look less prominent. Also, be sure to blend between the two powders. You can do that with a simple cotton ball to buffer between the two.

How about giving your face a heart shape with bangs carefully cut to create the illusion. I think it would look amazing on you!

If you decide to leave the rest of your hair long, you'll at least want to frame your face by cutting the sides short enough to turn in just under your chin to complete the shape.

Well I don't have any other suggestions besides a side bang, even though you said it doesn't work. If you would go with that, you would have to make sure you wash your hair, or at least your bangs, everyday so they stay nice and clean on your forehead. And make sure that you also wash your face twice a day to keep your forehead squeaky clean. ^_^

maybe you haven't found the right cut with bangs. since you have such a large forehead you shouldn't go without them... as for the oily skin get some oil controlling astringent -- it helps wonders!! i think a between the shoulder and jaw length bob with bangs is precious!! talk to your stylist. they always know what will look best on you and they know your hair, so they will be able to tell you what will be most managable for you and your needs. you could also do side bangs, but to keep them separating because of your skin type, use a cute clip or something of that sort. headbands always work too!! it keeps the attention on your hair and not your forehead. there are plenty of ways to dress yourself so that your flaws can compliment your total look. start looking at pictures and best of luck to you!!
